You can't beat breakfast all day. Crispy bacon and hash browns. If you want something other than breakfast they have wonderful comfort food and pies.

I've placed 3 orders at the location via door dash. Twice I ordered rice as listed on door dash and didn't get it, to be told the second time they don't have rice. The third time I ordered the same main course as I did the first two times and the third time it looked 150 times different.
It will also say a ruff ETA is 30-40 minutes I've waited an hour and half before. It's not due to door dash. The delivery people are having to wait at the store quite a while before they actually get it so they can deliver it. I had one of the delivery people inform me that any time she goes there they never have anything ready and/or have even started anything.
Unfortunately I will never be ordering from this location again. -

Country restaurant feel, great service. Delicious hot fresh food, but came out in a timely manner. Best pie in town try it all it'll keep you wanting more.

What do you get when you have an old Pizza Hut building, and a home style restaurant...a pretty good mix in the northland...
Barry road has a need for another good breakfast option, and the red apple diner, with an open floor concept, has the potential to fill the void.
The menu has several good options, from plain eggs, to skillets, and omelets, to French toast and pancakes, they have something for all tastes.
Our group of 4, ordered 3 skillets and a French toast combo. The meat skillets all had nice portions, but one of my sons was missing the 2 eggs, all the meat and hash browns were there, but in the haste of a busy Sunday morning, things happen...
The flavors were good and everyone enjoyed our first visit.
I ordered French toast combo, it comes with 2 eggs, choice of meat and hash browns and 4 small pieces of circular cinnamon French toast. Very good, but one of the pieces was burnt...as I said, a busy Sunday morning, and some hiccups will happen, but to get 5 stars from this Yelper Elite...my French toast has to be perfect......
Eat up...give this place a try...we're gonna try dinner here soon... -

Never used the hot sauce it would have ruined it I think. The gravy has just the perfect amount of heat. The only thing stopping me from licking my plate was the other patrons. . This place is a gem! Can't wait to come back for dinner and try their pies which look amazing.
